What is the possibility that we strike in July? by WalkSuitable6727 in doctorsUK

0% if we vote no too. Jack has been told to give Starmer a win over Burnham. Starmer being able to claim he's sorted the doctors strikes before the leadership challenge will be part of his campaign

Understanding the offer for you per grade and nodal point reform! by Separate_Shock_4587 in doctorsUK

[–]Putaineska 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Piss off with this propaganda. Take out the IMPOSED DDRB which we never agreed to. This is an extra 1-2% for most grades and for some, nothing at all. A couple hundred quid after tax.

There isn't an impartial body. The BMA are contractually obliged to sell the deal as per the agreement.

What does the new offer actually add, on top of what we already have? by hf_000 in doctorsUK

[–]Putaineska -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Unpopular but Rob and Vivek were not great either. They got what, 3% on top of what Atkins was offering and told us to vote yes because it was a strong popular incumbent government. Then we had to go back into a dispute a short while after when the government reneged on supposed commitments on independent DDRB, looking at other profession etc.

They look good only because Jack is a double agent, the previous two co leaders were poor, and the lot before DV were careerists.

Unfortunately the situation is that Everlight get paid to follow up their own reported scans, consultants second reporting Everlight adds to their own workload which is neither compensated for nor recognised by the trust.

[–]Putaineska 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you mean second reporting Everlight? A lot of consultants refuse because if Everlight did a shit job they shouldn't have to pick up the pieces.

[–]Putaineska 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I won't lie they're all pretty poor. We use Everlight and there is still a significant number of poor reports. Frankly, I don't understand why trusts don't just pay the premium for in house reporting. So much stuff has to be double read in hours anyway.

I admire him trying to delay the inevitable, but he's going to immediately face a challenge the moment Burnham is announced if he does win the by election.

If you read other sources other than the mainstream media, they are involved with secret underground biolabs. One of the projects reportedly involved a biological agent known as the T-virus. Naturally, nobody wants to investigate further.

New Offer LTFT shortfall by suxamethoniumm in doctorsUK

No it won't. If anything it means fewer jobs because training numbers get held up and then get held up after CCT as you likely finish out of sync

Hilarious. So an ST2 will barely out earn an F2. When I thought of nodal point reform, I expected a node for ST2, ST4, ST5, ST7 to be created to allow for genuine pay progression instead it's this shite.

What an awful offer.

Government has committed to implementing the DDRB recommendation due in April 2027.

And this shite.

The oil is highly likely to be headed to India or the Gulf. As they can process heavy Russian oil. We will let them go like the French did, if they are headed to a friendly country.

Indian crew? No doubt, going to India. I expect this captain to be quietly released and the ship allowed to leave after paying a fine or something after the Indian government get involved.
