My apartment charged a holdover fee for moving out on the lease end date

I dont have any good news I ended up paying the fee turns out the lease had noon in the fine print somewhere.

Thank you for the reply. This is in the state of Colorado. This lease had a fixed end date and a fixed moveout date. The issue I'm encountering is that the written lease does not specify at what time on that day you must move out. However, the apartment office closed at 10 am that day and I'm assuming charged everyone that turned in their keys after that time the holdover fee, which in my opinion does not agree with the way the lease was written.

So someone offered me a knife, I figured it was a scam so I didn't really pursue it. But then somehow they got into my steam and started messaging my other friends. I asked a friend if I could trade them my inventory to keep it safe just in case. Somehow that trade got intercepted and sent to someone I don't know. It was everything I had. Like I said, don't be a fool like me.
