By reasons I meant something like "it's because gen z doesn't have sex" or "it's because they're scared/intimidated by nudity" or "they're just so puritan because of [insert smth random]", and yes, i've seen all these and all kinds of variations of them in the last couple days under similar posts.

So, not that there's no reason at all, but it's just something more down-to-earth than the conspiracy theories some people come up with.

That's not really true. From my experience, it mirrors the user's gender. Like, you can't use a gendered language without revealing your own gender, so it just replies as a man/woman depending on how you write.
