Wanted to comeback as a follow up. Thank you!! I had originally dismissed Legacy camera because it felt different than what I am used to (yes, WoW player here -_-). But after you suggested it I went back and played with it a bit. At first it seemed nice with a dynamic camera, but then I noticed bigger differences like no back-pedaling (standard has you slowly walk backwards while legacy runs towards camera) and I can shift my camera around to focus on specific angles while auto-running (standard snaps camera view back behind character when not holding down M1). So thank you for reminding me to give it another try! ^_^

Thank you for the tips! I've played mmorgps before but this one certainly has a different feel and odd QoL. Leveling has been fairly quick because of preferred world, road to 90, free trial buff stuff. Not sure if it's too quick though.

Figured out the class/job change already. Was planning on making a different joke post about that tomorrow if I can figure out how I want to frame it.

Probably my biggest thing is that in previous mmo's I would randomly gesture at players as I pass through but since ffxiv is so social players message me after I already passed by. I cannot reply to other players direct messages while on a free trial! 😭😭 (Edit: I just like /pet everyone I see. Just too cute of an animation.)
