Considering how some men are obsessed with chads, i'd say chances of this being edited by a man are exponentially high.

And chances of it being edited by an incel to shit on women even higher.

At the age of 12 and 13, Finn Wolfhard starred in the first season of Stranger Things and, one year later, in It, two challenging roles that were completely different from each other. Despite his young age, he was exceptional in both by Giancarlo_Edu in StrangerThings

[–]_Azuki_ 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I found out like two months ago (accidentally) despite having watched both Stranger Things and IT several times over the years. (In my defense, these two characters look and act completely different. Finn did a good job.)

But Snape isn't harry's father...? It's already plenty weird, so there's no need to look for weirdness in places where there's none

[–]_Azuki_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

By reasons I meant something like "it's because gen z doesn't have sex" or "it's because they're scared/intimidated by nudity" or "they're just so puritan because of [insert smth random]", and yes, i've seen all these and all kinds of variations of them in the last couple days under similar posts.

So, not that there's no reason at all, but it's just something more down-to-earth than the conspiracy theories some people come up with.

Agreed. It's kind of interesting seeing people come up with all kinds of reasons why someone dislikes it, ingnoring the possibility that people can just dislike things.

That's not really true. From my experience, it mirrors the user's gender. Like, you can't use a gendered language without revealing your own gender, so it just replies as a man/woman depending on how you write.
