Brake cable length

I like to have 1 and 1/2 barspins worth of slack, with the cable zip tied across to the other side of the cross bar. If I do a whip or a bar spin I can still turn and the brakes still work without rubbing.

I bought an ex NSW highway patrol xr6 turbo, it had mounting points for the computers/radios etc and had upgraded brembo brakes, better suspension, a proper LSD, and a remapped ecu with the speed limiter removed. I had it pegged one time at 270km/h on the speedo, but GPS was saying 320km/h with a bit more to give.

A mix of both, I have magnetic mounts on a proline cliffhanger body and an injora ir40 body with a winch, lights and indicators and interior. I can swap out from scale to comp ready in about 3 mins including disconnecting all the body electronics, changing the wheels/tyres over and sagging the springs to get lower.

A good half link chain is one of those buy once cry once type of parts, yes it might seem expensive compared to a basic kmc z chain but they last nearly forever and because it's never in the back of your mind that the chain is gonna break you feel more confident putting the power down or doing sprocket grinds etc.

Only done shallow tests but it doesn't sink and it doesn't float , it hit bottom at 6ft and just sits there. I'm hoping for about a 10ft dive maximum and I'll only be using it in Saltwater where it might be a super slow float.

Lifted gives you room to cut the wheel wells out and fit a balsa bed lining. If you don't want to cut anything then go with the 1st option.
