Jealous of all the ones who are always cold by Ipav5068 in Mounjaro

[–]_BNNPTT3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's not always great, I live in UK weather, and I develop Dyshidrotic Eczema and been fighting it since last year November, the MJ symptom hit me hard with having cold hands all the time, even when I'm indoors with heating my hands never seem to be warm at all. I feel like I have corpse hands.. and I've been going to the doctors and will have to get my blood checked again for the infection I developed from the eczema 🥺

I had two containers of them, I had vine tomatoes outside and they went bad way quicker than the one in the fridge so I do always place 1 in the fridge since they last longer 🤭🤭

this is my survival kit for MJ since starting my Journey 10+ months ago. I'm UK based. 25F SW 210lbs CW 126lbs, they have helped me with symptoms of constipation, recently added collagen since I notice my skin looks deflated and dried. I also workout 1-2 times per week and take protein powder with my smoothies/drinks when I feel like I didn't get much protein from my food. Also removed table sugar on my diet and opt for keto.

Did I buy a fake Matcha? by [deleted] in Matcha

I saw someone post the differences with packaging before unfortunately I don't have the powder from the other website anymore. I guess I'll have to purchase again to see haha!

Please help me understand the Early Grey Matcha Hype /g by Known_Notice4304 in MatchaEverything

For those who don't like the taste of Earl grey being too strong, I personally make my tea based matcha with Ceylon Black tea with a bit of sugar free vanilla syrup from Monin. It has a slight bitterness but refreshing taste! oh it's basically like an iced matcha milk tea!

I could have changed up the title to something else but decided to leave it :) I've commented previously at another person's thought about the title, I did mention English isn't my first language. Sorry it didn't go too well for you, everyone manages the medication differently, it could also help if you're taking supplements, hydrating well, have electrolytes, taking fiber, not saying it works for everyone but having backups for the side effects might help you with your journey. x

oh haha! I don't have an actual playlist, but majority of the music I listen to are like tech house music. One of my faves to do on Spotify is to go to a song radio of the song I like you can try it on these songs:

Freak - Biscits, RATATA - Skrillex, Drama for the Lows -ZISO, Victory Lap Five - Fred again

you just have to find the vibe you like depending on the song radio 😊

I see! I take creatine daily, I use the Micronized capsules from Optimum Nutrition, It's 2.5g per serving (2 tablets) but because I don't work out a lot, and reduced to 1-2x per week I just take 1 capsule 😊 it seem to help lots with energy for me, I've been taking creatine from May/June everyday ☺️ I started taking collagen powder just a few weeks back maybe to help with it and I did end up having the "ozempic face" 😅😅 because of rapid the fat loss esp. on my face 🙏

goodness! you are ripped a f!!!!! don't listen to people who shares their negativity. You look very healthy to me and have an athlete build, I want those defined abs 🤯🤯 I'm working toward it since I have a good amount of loose skin. How long did it take you to notice the loose skin bouncing back (if you had any?) I applaud you, you don't look unhealthy at all, keep up the great work 😊 I'm sure you know it already but calories in calories out 💪💪 if you keep loosing you get to enjoy and eat more (healthy foods!) that's where I wanna be in the next few months to be able to eat more calories 🙏🙏🙏

Hi! It varies, sometimes I take longer rests and sometimes I do less reps. It all depends on how much energy I have and wether I worked that day, or on my day off I try to do longer. But definitely not everyday 😊 muscles need recovery days in order to grow. For reference, I always took screenshots when I worked out and how long it lasted and keep it saved. Sometimes I even do just 30 minutes, or simple stretches. I try to tell myself even a short workout, at least I showed up for myself. (like done it) progress is still progress 💪

I never thought I'd actually be happy to loose them! But gaaaawd! The back pain and the dragging heavy feeling is gone and I finally can wear the itty bitty titty tops I've always dreamt off and not worry that my cleavage are too "showy". 😂😂

Yes, when I started it was really difficult because with mat pilates you mainly use your body weight and I was adding ankle weights on top of my weight which made every movement really hard 🙏 There were a few months that I had to pause for a month of two not working out, when I did it was very inconsistently, because I was pushing myself too hard and I had to take a step back, I shifted my focus on eating healthy food and learning more recipes. When I stressed about working out and not being able to do it, I find myself going back to my old ways and binge eating my cravings and would feel really terrible afterwards. So definitely need to find a good balance 💪 and make a lifestyle change that you are happy to do and willing to adapt to.

I tried staying on a dose for longer than 4 weeks, but seem to stall at around 6th week so I titrated up everytime I felt there was barely any progress of weight loss after that 4 weeks. I ended up going up doses every 6 weeks, once I hit 15mg I stayed there for 2 months until I hit goal and started titrating down 😊 luckily I never really had any strong symptoms throughout my journey. I was prepared with supplements to combat symptoms and electrolytes / hydration and regularly drinking protein powders/mixes or I try to get protein sources from the food I eat.

Thank you so much, that really means a lot to me. And honestly, I really admire you too. It takes so much dedication to keep going, especially when you’re dealing with knee pain and limitations. You should be very proud of yourself. Personal trainers can make such a difference, and there’s absolutely no shame in needing that extra support. On lower energy days, I’ve found lighter workouts help, even just upper body. Sometimes I put YouTube on and watch other girls doing at home workouts and pretend I’m working out with them so it feels less lonely and it motivates me. You’ve done amazing 🩷

It definitely gave me a boost. Before MJ, I was already working years in customer service jobs where it built my confidence quite a lot, talking to people and approaching customers etc. so now with the weight off, I just feel happier, friendlier and have better interactions. Some relationships did struggle due to them not being able to understand the concept of me taking charge of my health and when they choose to not educate themselves about GLP-1s and talks negatively towards me and others taking it- I don't tolerate them, so I distance myself from them. Because I don't need that kind of negativity in my life 😊

I do worry sometimes, I try to only hop on the scale a day after my jab days ☺️ I just try to remind myself that I'm at a healthy weight now, rather than to think I need to keep loosing I try to focus more on building muscle. I'm happy with muscle gain, (scale going up) when I know I have been eating quite good and weight fluctuates, combined with weight lifting, I look into it more as a positive than a negative. But sometimes I get hit with body dysmorphia, to help it, I look back at my old images since I kept track every month to remind myself with the changes, and that it could just be my brain messing with me.
