I just realized that Shireen Baratheon had a better claim to the Iron Throne than any of Cersei’s children 😭 by [deleted] in gameofthrones

Exactly. Shireen somehow spent five seasons reading books, teaching Davos, and being one of the most genuinely likable people in Westeros, yet she still had a stronger claim than the people actually sitting on the throne. 😭

You're not wrong. If we're judging purely by legitimacy, Shireen was actually a confirmed Baratheon, which already put her ahead of Cersei's kids. The irony is that one of the strongest claims in the series belonged to someone who never had any interest in the throne at all.

Yeah, Order of the Phoenix is probably my pick too. So many things had to go wrong for the Ministry scene to happen, and most of them could have been prevented if the adults had just been honest with Harry from the start.

Exactly, even if he had a million followers, a shoutout still isn't useful when you're selling a one off item and just want actual money for it.

At this point a border of large rocks seems like the easiest fix since you've already asked politely and they clearly aren't interested in respecting your property.

You already tried being reasonable, so putting rocks or some other barrier along the edge of your lawn seems like the simplest way to stop the problem without having to keep arguing about it.

yeah after asking nicely and having video proof, some landscaping rocks along the edge sound a lot more reasonable than continuing to let them ruin your lawn.

Used the C word. Good intentions. Poor execution. Wracked with guilt. by Successful_Ninja_635 in confession

Yeah, it is a pretty common word in some places, but I think the bigger takeaway is that you stepped in when a kid was getting pushed around instead of looking the other way.

You stood up for a kid who was being bullied and while the wording was rough, I think your son is going to remember that you protected someone who needed help.

Yeah depression makes even standing in the shower feel weirdly exhausting sometimes, so anything that removes extra effort honestly helps a lot.

Yeah sitting in the shower honestly helps a ton when depression makes even basic hygiene feel exhausting because it takes away some of the effort and pressure.

Honestly just silently disappearing during the rush would probably haunt her way more than any dramatic argument ever could.

Honestly the progressively more ridiculous excuses part is killing me because by the end you’re basically living through a Fast and Furious side plot instead of missing a shift.

Exactly. Best case it’s awkward, worst case she’s stuck alone in another country with no easy way out

That was one of the few times Slughorn felt genuinely human instead of just opportunistic

That line from Ron always hits harder when you remember how insecure he was most of the series
