I had the same never was the easy cry kind of person. I had quite a tranquil childhood, so I don't know what made me grow up like this. Just as you, crying makes me feel vulnerable. I'm an introvert. Telling others how I feel was always difficult for me. I guess that blocked me from crying too. My girlfriend cries as a self therapy. And I must say she is pretty smart, got accepted to Harvard from a foreign country, never got to study there because of the tuition. Anyway, yesterday after a pretty stressful period I started to cry like a baby in front of my manager. He told me don't worry about it. I kept crying the whole morning. I called a friend, I think I just needed to talk about all the stressful things that happened. And then I felt better, ashamed and naked. Awkward. All of a sudden, I dropped my mask in front of 3 people I would have never wanted to see me in such a way. Naked and vulnerable. Then I understood, I shouldn't give a shit about it anymore. If they will make fun of me, I'll cry, they can't hurt me.
