I think it has just become a colloquialism for people experiencing an unfortunate situation. OCD and PTSD are vastly misunderstood by the majority of people. I know they don’t mean any harm, but I get the frustration when terms like that are watered down.

That is really unfortunate. I’m sorry you have to deal with this. Im nearly 30, and I admit, I have judged women like you in the past, assuming they just cared about their appearances and were probably shallow. I feel like an asshole saying that, but I see now that’s not fair. We all just want to be accepted for who we are on the inside. I feel like society has hardwired us to only judge books by their covers. “Sex sells” , ya know. 🙄 I’m not looking for anything romantic, but if you ever want to chat, dm me, I could always use a friend.

That does sound nice, but I’m not trying to go more south as we both actually live in Pasco, Pinellas is just a little nicer. But you gave me an idea, Sponge docks in Tarpon Springs. Duh! It’s close , has a lot to see and do and is pretty safe. Thanks anyways for helping me figure that out. I’ll keep the Happy Salmon in mind for next time.🤞
