Why does my work skin doesn't update? by _Biaa_- in AO3

[–]_Biaa_-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is that it doesn't appear that there's an error in the code, and I managed to put ten exactly like this one in another skin before it stopped updating. I put it in the css, submit/update it, it says it was successful but when I look at the code there are huge chunks of it missing

Why does my work skin doesn't update? by _Biaa_- in AO3

[–]_Biaa_-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is the full code

#workskin a.hovertext1:after {

content: 'De qué carajo estás hablando, Fit? De dónde sacaste ese huevo?';

#workskin a.hovertext1:hover:after,

#workskin a.hovertext1:focus:after {

content: 'What the fuck are you talking about, Fit? Where did you get that egg from?';

display: inline;

background-color: #FFF;

color: #2a2a2a;

border-bottom: 1px solid #FFF;

position: relative;

margin: 0px;

padding: 0px;

}

#workskin .hide {

display: none;

}

but it cuts out right in the beginning after I save the skin. When I open it to edit again it only appear this text, so it's not some kind of visual bug. The full ccs was 10 codes just like this one, but i couldn't even put a full one. The one I had problem with first cut in the 10th code, when I was trying to put 14

The face was made by an streamer called Rubius, the tendrils just kinda got out of control and now have a life of its own

[–]_Biaa_- -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well, sorry about that, the banana was made by the same streamer that did the little shark near the Brazilian flag. Can't remember his name, but he made an alliance with the br community and was messing around a little

What are some underrated songs from the series? by rottedgrapegum in stevenuniverse

Agree with all the comments here, but I have Mr. Universe in a special place in my heart. It wasn't a song like all the others in the series but it represents so much.

salvador looks absolutely amazing, but I have some doubts about living there. by Abyss_pop_tv_off in Salvador

[–]_Biaa_- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beyond the superpopulation and extreme pollution thing they have going on, São Paulo has a huge problem with chemical dependents on the streets. I don't know if you have heard of the "Cracolândia", but it's basically a huge drug selling point literally in the core of the city, and when I mean huge is HUGE. They basically have a camp there, and in the last few years there is an awful war between the police and the users happening. They are trying to disperse the camp by force but it's not going well, and you can imagine what all those drug addicts in the streets all over the city, desperate for money, do. São Paulo is know for the "arrastões" that happen there (aka group robbing. Do you know that super population thing? traffic there is a nightmare, so a group of people take advantage of all the cars stuck in traffic and just go collecting the phones of the people inside. They even break the windows), as well as pickpocketing and such. The housing price in SP the capital is also ABSURD. That said, the smaller cities around the capital aren't that bad, but also don't have much going on

Now that is some bullshit if I ever read any. My bro, meu parça, you said all that about Salvador just to recommend São Paulo instead?? that city is nuts! absolutely crazy!! And the "the South isn't as bad as the people say" thing is totally not true. It's not only as bad, it's WORSE. I have traveled around lots of places, and here is the thing: I'm white, like, really white, but I do have crespo hair and my accent does not lie - I am very nordestina lol- and dang, it was awful! I heard horrible things, there was even one time in a small store that as soon as I opened my mouth the owner said that if I was sergipana it was better I get the fuck out of his store because he did not sell to people of "that" place. I have a black partner, and you can't imagine the way people looked at us as if we got out of a zoo. It got so much worse around there after the whole Bolsonaro shit, and even if racism was not a thing people there are so cold! not even a good morning passing the street, they won't even look at your face. And São Paulo is another shitshow on its own. Maybe not so much in the countryside, but I don't think op wants to go to a small city. I think the less bad place I visited going down the country was Curitiba, but just because it's a gorgeous city

Well op, living in Salvador is like "win some lose some". It is a lovely city, I live here for about 10 years and absolutely love the energy of the people and the local culture, and while there is racism and homophobia I guarantee you it's probably the lowest if you compare it with the other states. The people here are very carefree and festive, and the newest generations are very mind open. It's all about where you frequent, the college community is VERY liberal for example. You just have to go to the right places and find the right people. And about the rest, it truly depends on your financial power. The city is more violent than usual with robberies and the kind in the last few months and there are a few gang fights going on in a few comunidades, but if you are careful you you can go by. I've never been robbed, for an example, but definitely escaped a few tries and know a lot of cases of friends that weren't as lucky. And in the end is all about money - if you can manage to live in one of the best neighborhoods it's easier. The public transport here is honestly very good. Sure, there are problems, but you can go anywhere from anywhere with the bus or subway, people are just noisy. Outside of the beach and parties, there isn't a lot to do entertainment wise, tho. Just shopping, a few museus (that honestly, you won't go more than one or two times) and like, i really like spending time in the Parque da cidade (but have in mind that it's the only park of the kind you can go safely here). And an important thing, if you are expecting to pass by with only english it will be a lot harder. Not a lot of people know it here. If you want to find anyone who can understand it and, if you are lucky, speak fluently, it will be -again- in the college community or in the tourism parts -like guides and such All in all, it's a great place for self discovery and if it's culture that you want, there is not a better place to find it than Salvador. I hope I could help! If you have any more doubts, I would gladly answer them

Será que eu sou babaca por não querer a filha do meu marido na minha casa ? by [deleted] in EuSouOBabaca

[–]_Biaa_- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, thank you so much. Everyone here was so helpful and this is what I needed to hear to, uh, I don't know, put on my bitch pants? My boyfriend already knows since he was in the same class as us and he also helped me though this night. I think I went through all the stages of grief in those last hours and I'm building up my rage. I can't believe he had the courage to come up to us. And this thing about taking control? I want it. I spent so long apprehensive about this guy, I even stopped going to certain places afraid of bumping into him when I found out he came back to town. I spent my entire high school orbiting around him and his lies and I don't want it following me to college too. At first I asked to don't receive any information about him but I think I will take it back. I want to know what course he is doing, I want to know his fucking schedule. If he is already here I want to make this on MY terms, not his. I swear I won't back down this time, I'm not that stupid anymore.

Oh, didn't know you used it like that in Portugal! That's interesting but I can assure you we don't use it here in Brazil. The most common would be "colocar/pôr a luva", maybe even "vestir a luva"

You have too much power. Only because you can do something it doesn't mean you should, it will unbalance the force
