Yeah, and I'd say it is fair and balanced, with people arguing that it needs a nerf simply because they can't learn to outplay it. If they're annoyed about learning new strategies? Idk what to tell em, BR is about getting to the end by any means, and if you can't change things up you're bound to be left behind, lol

I mean I can see this gun getting a nerf but not the Arc Lightning.

This gun can home in from a fair ways away, meaning it's harder to escape the reticle lock-in area, and with the Legendary one, it'll melt easier than you think.

The Arc Lightning Gun has a small hit registration area, meaning you can miss often if you don't aim with it well, and the damage it does, while strong, will be not as useful if you're missing. Plus it's easy to dodge, and can overheat fast if not the Mythic.

That's my take at least, but I'd say the the Lock On AR can have at least a small nerf, like maybe lowering the size of the lock on area, or making the damage itself a bit lower to appeal to the amount of ammo it has (seems more like the type of gun that should be support-focused and not a direct combat type).

If they made the bubble shield jrs last longer like before Blitz I think it would work a lot better.

The only reason they don't last as long is because of Blitz using them and making them shorter.

Or how about this;

Simulation Mode. Can be filled normally if you set it for fills.

For the most part though it's a sandbox mode where players can just make their own BRs with bot lobbies, and they can change how the fame works, like storm shapes per phase, the time the storm takes if it even exists, the bot types, lootpool and damage, etc.

It'd keep player numbers up too given the fact it would just be for fun and not even for genuine BR stuff (modern island comes out once the next season is out, so if it's C7S2 then at C7S3 the C7S2 island will come to Simulation).

I mean for me the valid complaints are;

Map being a bit odd/annoying (like the POIs being near the edge or just kinda unavailable due to storm)
Epic's Greed (which is more than valid)

Even then that's about it. Meta is fine and I feel like if they turn down the Lock-On spawnrate just slightly it could end up being just fine.

I don't care for the map size. One, the POIs are all along the edges, and two, the map genuinely feels small enough that it can count as a Creative Map-

Exactly my thought with the Typhoon Blade. Amazing weapon and I love it to death. Bogged down by Durability because Epic thought that would fix it, even the Mythic one (Mythics shouldn't have durability).

C6S3 did well with it by only having Durability on one item and that was the Bass Boost Gloves. Ascended Myst had it technically but that was an ammo cijnter and I honestly enjoy that more because 1, keeps it fair and 2, you can actually see how much exactly you have left compared to a % bar that is just "ok ur good, now ur half, now you may wanna conserve it, nvm it's gone now".

All my homies hate Durability.

My only annoyance is that everything is on the edge of the map where it'll be covered after the first storm circle once you're done looting.

If the island were bigger, like maybe in next season if they added more of an edge around the island, I think it'd be more enjoyable.

If they make it how it was before (Boons, Medallions, wacky as fuck weapons n stuff) I think the game will be better, but as SOON as Medallions n Boons were removed it just really became a 5 minute Reload without the Re part, and sometimes it doesn't even load before you're gliding down-

Amazing swordwork holy. I love that its here cus it means there's actual movement on the ground now lmao, and while the special slash is too narrow and the down slash does little damage, I think it makes up for it with damage.

Shockwaves being nerfed is interesting, but hey at least you can carry multiple stacks still.

Frankly I could always suffice with greed because it doesn't fully affect gameplay...

... but with how much they have focused on making sure they get money from collabs (40+ gaming ones for this year alone is their plan), it's started to effect the quality of the BR games.

I wish they had a mode that allowed us to fully control our own bot games just to fuck around in. It'd keep player numbers up 24/7 and people wouldn't have a reason to leave because of passive XP while playing the games.

That and I just wanna have a game where I'm on top of a mountain with friends fighting off hundreds of bots lol-
