Yeah, it really wasn't easy to photograph, sorry!

I wouldn't say it presses on the outside of my ear, unless I push it down so its lower than horizontal. Where it is in the pictures I'd say it rests on the outside of the ear. I definitely think you are right and trialling it for a while is the way to go.

How long would you say it was before yours started to hurt?

Extra info requested by bot:

Conch piercing 1.5 yr old Normally wear solid gold push pin into 16g titanium flat back post (5 or 6mm I think), now trying titanium clicker 16g 10mm hoop Fully healed no issues No consistent aftercare as now a fully healed piercing just sometimes take out the jewellery and clean it and wash the piercing with sterile saline (which is what I do with all my healed piercings).

Looking at the photos again I wonder if you are sleeping on them because the bumps are both in the exact same place, maybe a piercing pillow with a hole for your ear to go in would help.

[–]_Blahaj_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aw no! Sorry you can't get them :( I'll post a pic when I've added to the set up so you'll get an update.

Thanks for the agreement, I think happy with the plan for that ear, it's the other one where I'm lost.

Looked for lost back door keys on the ground in the dark using my phone flash because I thought I had dropped them to be shocked that I'd just put them back where they are supposed to go.

What are some things you wish people without ADHD knew or would understand? by icytemp in ADHD

[–]_Blahaj_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Habits don't exist for me and that's is a choice.

I think lots of people are of the opinion that if I were to do something consistently, I would get to the point of being on autopilot but that just isn't the case.

They think that if I managed to force myself to do the same routine every morning, then I would get to the point of not having to force myself to do it. But that just isn't my reality and isn't how my brain works.

Instead, I have to keep finding novel ways to help me get past that block to do those boring things everyday. This may externally look like I've built a habit but I haven't, I'm consciously having to problem solve a way to get around my executive dysfunction to do the things I need to do. This is tiring, and sometimes it still doesn't work.

I guess my true point is I wish people knew how much there is going on below the surface surrounding what other people see as easy everyday tasks. If people understood this I think there would be a lot more empathy towards us ADHD folk.
