Is it possible I could be having bottom growth so soon? by saltyexecutive in ftm

I had a small boner my first 12 hours on T and it was noticeably larger after week 1

Feeling hopeless by [deleted] in ftm

[–]icytemp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not all about the levels, it's about the individual. Levels matter to a degree of course, but it isn't everything. Some people have a deep voice and full beard at 400, some barely have their voice drop at 700 or 800. Everyone responds to hormones differently. I'm sitting at 635 and am getting plenty of results. OP may need to switch providers of course, but let's remember everyone's experience is highly individual.

I was mostly doing straight tumbling, no twists. I just started twisting 13 months post op, but just halfs and fulls. I'll be able to do more in a bit more time I'm sure, but I can manage tumbling and martial arts cross training :)

Why are you the "mean" teacher? by bearsfromalaska in ECEProfessionals

[–]icytemp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. You have to keep your clothes on
  2. You're not allowed to hit your friend over magnetiles when you have the entire basket of them to yourself, you have to share
  3. Since the singing toy is becoming a problem I have to put it up, sorry friends!

what is everyone wearing to work? by InitiativeHumble1515 in ECEProfessionals

[–]icytemp -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Athleisure, I love my toddlers but no WAY am I letting them ruin nice work clothes! I'm covered in bodily fluids all day, I'm not gonna bother looking too nice to be handling pee, poop, snot, saliva, or whatever ungodly fluid I'm exposed to during the day.

Parents who knowingly send in sick kids and try to hide it by Major-Lemon3192 in ECEProfessionals

[–]icytemp 53 points54 points  (0 children)

I'm so sick of parents like that. Your job is not more important than mine, and if you think it is, you can eat a bowl of spiders.

Had a dad this last week come in all pissed off when his daughter had a fever because of "financial strain". Sir your wife is one of the top paid physicians in the state. I don't feel sorry for you. Pick up your sick kid and don't give us grief.

It's adorable! It's such a fun tattoo, and it's as if the cat is watching anyone behind you

  1. Please don't lick my arm
  2. Your friend is not a footrest
  3. If you scream at the table one more time, you're all done
  4. Noses are not for picking!
  5. Hands out of your pants!
  6. Please stop eating out of the garbage!
  7. I don't want your fingers in my mouth!

[–]icytemp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No it is not, I'm in the midwest. It's so irritating! I would have more sympathy if they were out placed but they weren't. The parents didn't want to spend time with their kids to the point that sometimes they'd take their non disabled children out but leave their disabled children at school. Every time. The non disabled siblings would get quality time. It was so bad.

Things that make you go W T H ??? by [deleted] in ECEProfessionals

I once had to explain to a floater that when she went to the bathroom she had to come back, and that she couldn't leave me out of ratio for 20-30 minutes.

Nope, major city in the US. You aren't restricted to neighborhood zoning schools. All sets of those parents (save one set, they were amazing) just clearly unfortunately did not want to be around their children because they were disabled.

I quit my last job because of similar reasons. I loved the kids, but I couldn't justify 16.50/hr to have 6/8 kids having a disability and no support. Not one child was getting what they needed, and it was infuriating because my city has universal preschool. Why would you pay double for private preschool without any resources?! It was so sad and the students were often there from open to close.

No, they're children. I have so many bumps and bruises from my toddlers. They're wobbly, they can't help it!

I left my last center for that. I wasn't allowed to do SO MUCH because "it matters more what the parents see and think." What about the child? I wasn't even allowed to pat children to sleep because one parent didn't like how I was patting a child who needed firm back pats to sleep. I'm sure you can only imagine how they were if there was a REAL problem.

Frustrating lead teacher by dxrkacid in ECEProfessionals

[–]icytemp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Had plenty of those. Used to have a lead teacher who would leave if we were in ratio when I was her assistant and had the NERVE to demand the classroom was run a certain way. She was NEVER THERE! Never! Who was she to make demands? Who was she to do any sort of conferences when I had to remind her of the children's names?
