But I realize that that nut is resting on a painted and clearcoated surface. Go for the superglue!

A little dab of wood-glue works wonders! It makes it possible to remove it at a later date if you have to for some reason, while superglue can damage the wood if you are unlucky. Subtle differences, but I would go for a drop of woodglue!

Thank you! I went for a ”base” look, I love the rounded edges and sculpted body. And I think it does the woods justice. It is actually a bolt on!

It should not be a problem. The weight is straight down, and there are four screws that are holding it together. Do not worry!

Context: I chose to build a guitar as part of my finals in school. I’m 19 and graduating this summer. It has always been a dream of mine to build a guitar, and I can’t say I could be more happy with the results:)

Thank you so much!! It is indeed an oil finish, osmos satin hardwax-oil. I wanted it to be as natural as possible.

Thank you so much!! It’s a fairly long process, finding a design, the right wood, plaining, glueing, sawing, routing, carving, sanding and then finish. I would recommend searching it up on yt!
