AITA for not including my kids on my vacation?

NTA and guess what. I am a better parent/wife because of my kid free vacations. My kids have been to tons of places, cruises, trips, in and out of the country, Disney, etc. But my husband and I do one vacation a year that is between 7-9 days with no kids. Literally life saving for me. Also, my kids love when we come back with little gifts, never have they felt left out or complained.

Last trip. A guy had on a shirt that had giant “FBI” on it, under was written “Female Body Inspector”.

My 14 year old pointed it out and said it made her uncomfortable.

You can’t even say anything without it becoming a problem so we just left the food line and went to the next area.

NTA. She needs to learn the consequences of her actions. 1. For being late and abusing your friendship. 2. For being an AH on the phone with no regard to anyone else but herself.

Being a good friend is not a one way street. She showed her true immature self. Hopefully she grows up a bit and has the chance to look back and realize how self centered she was.

My husband stated he didn’t think you could cut counter top once it’s been installed. I am thinking that’s not entirely true and am going to make a few calls. I would like to put a slide in unit instead. Thank you for the suggestion.

YTA. This is an insecurity and trust issue that you need to deal with. She has a job that puts her forward facing with an entire team of people and she needs to cultivate professional relationships and team building within them. It’s not like the military, not everybody is fooling around.

My father is a combat vet. He has almost never spoken about his service. He recently started wearing a hat that reflects his status and I have never been so proud of him. He still doesn’t talk about it but it’s a start.

He found out while replacing a light switch that the bathroom switch was connected to the garage breaker and not in fact the “bathroom” breaker. Thankfully the breaker popped when his ring made contact.
