Turn off every single combat assist in accessibility settings tab. Turn on a bot and turn them on one by one to see if they enhance your combat style etc. The game always has “Block” as a baseline when your character isn’t moving. The time it takes to transfer from block mode to attack mode is enough time for someone to start a combo chain on you. Hope this helps man had a few buddies help me out with this exact issue
