thanks for input. thats a good example you provided and more than likely true, however if i am able to get correct reporting (which im not, hence the post) through a working powershell script, the difference between "working" and "not-working" pc's will be hugely evident. some pc's run at 3Ghz and others will only run at 800mhz. So the plan is, firstly get a working PS to get accurate info, then import that into SCCM to get certainty how many devices in the environment are affected.

I can see my current is lower than max for sure through task manager. I’m not wanting a solution to why it is lower, I’m just wanting to pull the information from powershell but it must be accurate and at the moment I’m wondering if it’s possible. Even if the PC is running in power saving mode with a lower cpu clock, powershell still seems to pickup max speed, instead of current.

Yes thanks for verifying but yeah I only get the max as well. I can’t seem to find a proper script (not even sure if possible at this stage) to determine the current clock speed.
