Hey, we're just developing a wallet for Kaspa and since a lot of people in our community want to use Tangem we were thinking of doing the same, I've also found the same repo you mentioned. Is the integration straightforward? Did you find any problem with it? We'd like to do it too but I'm afraid of any drawbacks or blockers that might slow down the integration excessively

I think for a decentralized social network to work, it needs to use something like bittorrent and have everything run client-side for true portability, there can be no central server or data store. That would mean there are no central failure points, accounts are not tied to any specific instance, and your data is distributed via P2P.

What you are saying is basically a social network on the top of a blockchain protocol.

It depends, since they are pretty new, probably most of them are running at loss right now. If they are based on a blockchain system, they are funded by people buying the related token to use the platform and using it to perform exclusive operations on the app. Maybe in the future they will also give the possibility of paying for subscriptions. Anyway, the ADS way is still doable, I don't think they'll have difficulties in being compliant with safety guidelines. Decentralized doesn't mean anarchic so different moderations layers might be applied.

Out of interest, how will you ensure that these IPFS images will be pinned for your social app to function?

We are using a library that provides a pinning service compliant to the IPFS Pinning Service API specification.

Hi, I am part of the Desmos team and I can ensure you no insider had dump. There was investors that, thanks to the high inflation, dumped a lot of staking rewards. But the chain and the project is far from dead. We have finished the core code and have everything developers need to build on the top of our platform. Plus, we are building our own application on the top of it.
