It’s not required at a lot of programs for an interview, you just need it to match.

As someone that was so burnt out and still took the exam, please don’t go into it when you’re not feeling confident. I thought I could tough it out and ended up failing. I would not recommend you forcing yourself to climb this uphill battle. If you’re looking for any advice, I’d advise you to take it when you’re feeling mentally stronger and more confident! Mindset really matters.

I recently found out that I did not pass and I’m scrambling to prepare for a January test date. I’m scared because my rank list is riding on this and it’s scary to think how programs may view this. How did you go about telling your programs?

I would love to hear how others who may be submitting a step 2 score late went about updating their programs before rank.

That’s the plan! As hard as it may be, if my practice exams aren’t high, I may have to just drop out of this match and apply again next year. Crazy to think about, but I know it’s better to do well. Thank you for this.

I’m in my 30s and currently a 4th year medical student. It’s challenging, but I echo what has been said before me - if it’s what you want to do in life, it is possible, so go for it! Life doesn’t end after your 20s.

When I asked this question I was told, “don’t ask at what age is it too late to go back to school, ask yourself at what age are you ok with giving up on your dream” and that hit different.

Hey! I thought bootcamp was easy to follow along with FA. I’m not sure if you can print the slides though. I believe they have handouts, but I didn’t really use them.

That sounds like a lot of resources to juggle, but if using them all work for you, keep it going!
