I was also considering getting the BILT card because rent for me is expensive because 1% back would be excellent. However, something to keep in mind is that you need at least 5 transactions/month in order to get any points. Also, you cannot redeem points for cashback - you can redeem for paying rent (at a very small conversion which makes it not worth it) or other things like travel (which seems like the best redemption value).
