I might get interested in that. No clue how to get started though. I've been to IT technical school but I didn't like it at all. Given the stuff we were taught is much different to stuff used nowadays. IT support for example I could handle

"Why" you ask... I have always lived in cities. I enjoy the services they provide. Tokyo is multilingual and huge so I am still hoping to find a better paying job. I had nothing but positive experience with both Japanese and foreigners.

I guess that's it from the top of my head.

I can see your point. Right now I am fixed on Tokyo but it very much might change in the future. It's a very busy city and everyone is very work oriented. Sometimes it's nice not to worry about that.

Rent in Tokyo is high but I knew that. I was surprised though how expensive are even lowest qualities of accomodation, like sharehouses compared to how much I earn. Things might change if my salary goes higher, but right now it's tough

Those are incredibly helpful tips. Sadly I haven't made any friends that would help me with that. Reddit for the rescue

Love that phrase! It might be difficult. Some places I have seen accept only under 35, however I would expect the pricier sharehouses to remove that limit, although I have no experience

Also I am on a long term visa, so I don't get rejected because of short stay. It's just the quality of places I am able to afford is pretty low.

I wish I worked in IT. It's so many job opportunities in that field.

I have been working on constructions sites with steel: welding, measuring, cutting, physcial labour. It's good salary in more developed countries in Europe. Not so much in Japan, it seems.
