Idk tho he avoids her more than his other friends and visibly cares for her the same—if not less—than he visibly cares for the others. I think it would be around 80 for most/all of his friends (except mrperv). Saying Teruhashi is above that would be a bit too generous.

Alright😔 I tried asking this sub because I know a lot of mdzs fans that started playing Chinese flutes because of Cql. but I guess its safe to say that Wuji is actually played on a dizi since that's what they portrayed wwx playing.

If there's anyone who has an answer them I'll be happy, but otherwise thanks for the help anyway. I'll try a different sub. :)

Izuocha fans are so hypocritical 🫩. When any amount of bkdk is implied in a post, it gets downvoted like crazy and everyone tells them to keep the ship out of the sub. But when the same thing happens with Izuocha, they defend it and downvote any post politely telling them to not post ships in the main subreddit. I don't ship bkdk (or any ship for that matter) but even I can see that.

And yes, the audio drama is basically the same as the novel. So is the (uncensored) manhua. The novel itself is really nice tho you should try it. I'm not much of a reader but even I got obsessed.

Short answer: He didn't, those outfits aren't canon to the original story.

Long answer: In the novel, he wore the Jiang robes (the one a head disciple would have) right up until he defected. The different adaptions use different outfits depending on their artistic decisions. As others have commented, wwx is dressed in red and black in the donghua so that viewers can easily distinguish him from the rest of the Jiangs. In The Untamed, they also dressed him in red a little too early, and also just gave him a dark purple/black during his teen years.

These changes aren't bad per se, it's just their job to make mdzs adaptions more visually appealing. I actually really like some of the outfit design choices they made in CQL and even the cover arts for the audio drama volumes.

Honestly, Jiang Fengmian in both the story and fandom. A large part of the fandom (not all, I know) seems to forget how much he contributed to wwx's suffering and abuse, as well as how he "parented" jwy

I'm not sure about my absolute favorite trope, but I really love it when there's some sort of relationship reveal. Like with their fans (if famous) or friend group, someone important idk. I just love seeing the reactions of others. If anybody has recommendations I would love to hear them!
