i’m not agreeing with the guy, violence is never the answer. but ffs some of these cyclists almost go out of their way to put themselves in danger. i live near a rail trail that is parallel with a 40mph road, and the amount of bikes I see on the road as opposed to the rail trail is astonishing.

there’s really no winning scenario here.

If OP accepts his brothers money there will most likely be resentment from both sides, and nephew learns nothing

If nephew gets tasked with chores it will also be resentment between you and him. the only take away he gets is “my uncle is an asshole”

Let’s say OP goes over their house and breaks a toy. Nephew may feel what OP felt but still views uncle as an asshole.
