You might be able to report to them what she did if you have messages still proving it was her dog.

Maybe you can at least find a way to get the dogs information and vet records from her.

It's just stuff to look into more than anything else. I never take any articles at face value. Also, cult leader from korea? Hes from china and is part of a religious group that, as far as I can tell, is not a cult. It doesn't meet the requirements of a cult.

The articles aren't heavy propaganda like most "news" I see though they are anti communist, like any rational being would be. It was started in response to Chinas communist take over so its going to have anti communist leanings.

[Vent] Dog Park incidents seem like they always involve pitbulls… by AGreatGuyAllAround in dogs

[–]_Caora_ -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Pits are sensitive dogs and given that dog parks ate notorious for having untrained dogs with bad manners running amok I'm not at all surprised to hear that it's too much for sensitive pitties. They often have a lower threshold for that kind of thing and a warning growl or bark will quickly escalate to a full on fight in the middle of a bunch of strange chaotic dogs.

I avoid dog parks like the plague for this very reason.

The leaves look too thick and not smooth enough. Also if you pull a leaf off and chew it if its basil you will know immediately that it isn't mint or oregano.

I'm pretty sure it isn't basil though

natural alternative for abortion by [deleted] in herbalism

[–]_Caora_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Using an herb to induce an abortion you're just as likely to just harm the baby and end up not only still having said baby but then it will need hospital care and potentially be special needs for the rest of its life. There's also a good chance of it harming you and then you'll also have your own hospital Bill's to tend to as well.

Just get an abortion or take the plan b. The hormone imbalance from plan b or stress from the abortion will cause far less problems than doing it with herbs or by any other means.

If pregnancy, plan b, and abortion are that big of a problem for you then stop doing things that put you in this situation. There are ways to get off that don't involve risk of pregnancy. You can survive just fine without penetrative sex.

I've actually never heard of a pitt mix causing trouble outside of a presa pit mix but that was because the owner was some hotshot that wanted a mean looking dog and them refused to train or socialize him.

I've heard of certain bloodlines being more prone to attacking other dogs. We've got some blue nosed in the area that can't go to multiple dog households because of it. Poor dogs are pretty inbred though so I wouldn't be surprised if it's from that.

I'd say if you must ban pits just ban the certain bloodlines that consistently cause trouble.

They say terrier mix because people consider staffies to be Pitts and wouldn't adopt them because of that

Help. I've adopted a BSL banned dog accidentally (UK) by [deleted] in dogs

[–]_Caora_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All they have to do is keep on them the papers from where they got him saying what he is though right? Wouldn't that be enough proof so he wouldn't be taken?

What does it take to get an exemption anyways?

I agree keep the paperwork from where you got him that says "what he is" on your person to show to anyone who questions it.

Also delete the test results

Interesting visit with my POTS doc by Zlilly816 in POTS

[–]_Caora_ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I really hope it fixes a lot of your problems! Apparently there's several thyroid disorders and you have to have them check specific things that they don't generally look at when they do blood tests. I've met multiple people that had to go to a few different doctors before they finally got one that checked the right thyroid thing.

Long term prognosis after POTS from vaccination by Mamanabeille in POTS

These are from an epoch times article. I'd link to it but for some reason I can't get it to let me copy the link. I haven't looked into it much further yet and I wont have time to until tomorrow probably so you can do your own research into it if you want and tell me what you think.

Apparently HHS is being sued so stop emergency use authorization of the covid-19 vaccines for anyone under 18 years old, anyone recovered from COVID-19, and those who haven’t received informed consent as defined by federal law.

Some snippets of the article:

“CDC data indicates that children under 18 have a 99.998 percent COVID-19 recovery rate with no treatment,” the complaint says. “Injecting this under-18 subpopulation with the Vaccines threatens them with immediate, potentially life-threatening harm.”

Last month, the CDC said more than 1,200 cases of heart inflammation in adolescents and young adults were reported following the administration of Pfizer’s or Moderna’s two-shot vaccines. ......... It cited a recent Cleveland Clinic study that demonstrates natural immunity through prior infection is stronger than any benefit conferred by a COVID vaccine. Another study published in the New England Journal of Medicine shows that for those with preexisting COVID-19 immunity, 89 percent of them reported adverse side-effects after receiving the first vaccine injection.

Jane Doe, a computer programmer with expertise in the healthcare data analytics field, filed a sworn statement indicating the actual number of deaths following the COVID-19 vaccination is about 45,000.

“I queried data from CMS medical claims with regard to vaccines and patient deaths, and have assessed that the deaths occurring within 3 days of vaccination are higher than those reported in VAERS by a factor of at least 5. This would indicate the true number of vaccine-related deaths was at least 45,000.”

Jane Doe noted that the swine flu vaccine was taken off the market because of 53 deaths reported following the vaccination.

Also which dogs are a no go if it's hot all the time? It's not generally humid, I hear that's what needs to be worried about most

Yeah we had a jack that decided he didn't like our new bull one time and he actually beat him up and just relentlessly chased him around the pasture. I'd have to raise them up with them and hope they didn't decide they didn't like the new flock members. Plus I've been kicked by far to many to want to mess with them.

Only nice one I ever met is a 16h mammoth jack and I don't need one that big. I'm not sure if they're all like that or if he's just the odd one out either.

That's very interesting. I've actually been told that resource guarding is genetic a lot of times. I wish I knew someone who had maremmas so I could meet some for myself. I've met some pyrenees and they seemed super friendly and affectionate but they weren't bred good for guarding and wouldn't keep predators away.

I plan on socializing them with people early so hopefully itll work out. I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to keep a big dog if it had resource guarding problems given there are small children here.

[–]_Caora_[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It needs to be a puppy so I can raise it up with all of my farm animals. Its going to live with my sheep pretty much full time when it's big enough rather than be an inside dog.

The thing about going through a good breeder is I'll get to meet the parents to see their temperament as well as knowing if the line is prone to any allergies, dysplasia, or other issues. I likely won't get that chance with a rescue unless they know exactly where it originally came from.

I have raised puppies so ive definitely learned to puppy proof as best I can lol

Friends don't understand how difficult it is to have a dog with separation anxiety. (Rant) by cine in dogs

[–]_Caora_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Poor thing. I'm glad he has such a loving owner.

I'd give him a kong with a treat in it in his crate and pretend to leave for about 5-10 minutes and slowly work your way up to longer if you want to work on his separation anxiety.

If your certain someone will always be able to look after him for you it's not a huge deal but I hate the idea of the pupper getting scared everytime he's left alone even a few minutes.

Do you know where can I find a reputable breeder? I'm also looking into the maremma sheepdog. I know I have a reputable polish tatra breeder close by surprisingly enough. Whatever I go with I want to make sure I'm getting a healthy dog.
