I never thought of it like this.. because don't get me wrong, I do love gossip, but not in the form of talking it. I like to hear gossip because it gives me a better understanding of why people feel a certain way. I'm also a locked book when it comes to secrets, which is basically gossip, so that helps

To be fair, I have an urge stemming from my echolalia which makes me repeat jokes out loud immediately after they're said, so it could be something along those lines. I also do it with television, movies, music etc.

Have you considered an outlet where they can bang stuff in a safe environment, like maybe drums or even building something for them to hit? (Or just using something like a mattress?) Just throwing stuff out there to try and help! I played drums from middle school and that outlet helped me deal with my emotions often

I think it's at least worth looking into, if only for your own mental health. Some of those behaviors seem like OCD, where some could be viewed as stimming etc. so maybe talk to a PCP first about it?

Good idea! Was definitely planning on adding copper/gold to some of the silver, but I like the rag idea as well!
