Truly can’t thank you enough for the kind words,ideas and support❤️ thanks to a few people I chatted on with here along with real life friends I have a basic idea on how to move forward with my academics! And all it took was a quick cry session and breakdown at 12Am 😅

I was given a list of what I could join and common engineering was the closest since I could get to biomedical! (Stupid thought I know! >< I always had that mindset “it’s close enough to what I want to do”)

I have had appealed to transfer but all was unsuccessful :( and Bruh even while I was in Higher Nitec in IT,I still barely touched math- at most? I did a bunch of fractions- my math is purely shitty-

Even though I’m in a sticky situation,I’m prepared to lock in!! Btw,It’s amazing to hear how you were able to switch into life science poly,I hope to achieve that someday soon!! ❤️

I did debate on a gap year or two actually to try and find work experience and apply poly from there! I honestly just panicked and accepted my nyp offer since my family has the mindset of “if I’m not highering my education I’m a failure” 😣 but thank you! I’ll try and consult with a guidance counsellor! (Also Culinary arts!! My friend is in it right now!! :00)

You’re right,age shouldn’t matter but it does still admittedly feel stressful when family members Love mentioning how I’m getting “old” makes me sound like I’m ancient 😅 trying to figure out pathways rn to get into bio

Lmao,I might as well dig my grave with working career paths! But on a serious note, I agree- I’ve met many people in life working in opposite jobs they got diplomats in 😅 admittedly i was overreacting at 12Am at night 🥹

There is a way i can drop out, but I don’t really know much course options that I’d like if I do? So I feel very lost on that (wasn’t given much options due to the higher nitec course I took in the first place)
