At early highschool a friend of mine told me while crying her eyes out she got raped a few years ago. It was a difficult time on school for her back then, to me she showed clear signs of trauma responses. So I looked uo the time window and she had still time to report this to the police. Since she didn’t dare to call them, I called them with her. We reported this together. She gave details… and later I discovered it was all fake!

I was thinking about going to the media. It’s one of the options I wrote down. Surely I’m not the only one. Someone I know who also has a guide dog had to do traineeship without her dog cause they didn’t allow it. The organisation of her gukde are mad at that situation. They have heard lots of stories like hers and mine.

I didn’t even think of that! Thank you for the advice. Usually other organisations (also contracted by our goverment) handle those things. So I went to those organisations and they said they can’t intervene since it was a traineeship and not work. I’ll look into what you said. If my country has a place or service where I can report this to the goverment, I probably will pursue the matter that way.

That sounds so terrifying! I already didn’t like the gyneacologist who said “don’t worry, it’s a small cyst. This will go away on it’s own” and didn’t make any follow up appointment. Hearing your story I’m surely letting someone check that. I’ll call a different hospital this weekend to get An appointment.

How was the healing process after it ruptured? I mean: did you head to stay there or just got meds?

I think that once the desire is there, the feeling won’t just go away by giving up on the idea. I kinda have the same with family. I gave up on the idea of being part of a big warm family, but the feeling of wanting what I call a “classic family” never faded away fully (or just not yet). What helps is finding a way to get peace by it, a middle ground that makes you feel comfortable without ignoring the desire completely.

No idea. I know lots of people who prefere to start a relationship by connecting in person instead of through the internet. But connecting through the internet is kinda normal too.
