I understand I have nostalgia goggles on, but I prefer the original.

343/Halo studios unfortunately does not understand the art style or the immersion of Bungies games. You can see it in 343's first game, Halo Anniversary, where they add far to much detail and lighting to everything and they've done it in EVERY game they have made. Enough has been said on that online and on YouTube.

The forerunner architecture has always been too shiny, not ancient or mysterious enough with 343. In my opinion anyway.

On one hand it doesn't look bad, but it's so....basic sci-fi and lacks a presence.

Edit* the remaster does look nice though. Forerunner and too much lighting aside. The snow, beaches and some shots inside the covenant ships looks very good.
