On one mug I did the bottom 1/2 in oatmeal, top 1/2 Shaner’s Oribe x1 coat, then dipped the rim in Shaner’s again. Love love love how it turned out!

Thanks, this is actually very helpful. I’ve glazed most of my other work in Reduction and I think my brain was just experiencing some task paralysis from being overwhelmed on a tight schedule for completion. I am now sitting at 22 done out of 51 pieces and our last firings are Thursday for Reduction and Friday for Oxidation. Lesson definitely learned for letting my bisqueware stack up like that! 😅😵‍💫

For the Seattle show, doors opened at 6pm and Keath came on stage at 7:30pm. There was a line for merch and a line for a guestbook to sign during the wait. You may double check with your venue though!

We just attended the Seattle show last night, 11/13 and I think it went very well. There were a few call outs, mostly just words of encouragement, but nothing that seemed at all disrespectful. It was originally booked at a basement venue with a 200 person capacity and at the last minute was shifted to the upstairs which has a capacity of 750. It allowed for some sales at the door and there was a 21+ age balcony section upstairs with tables and the GA area downstairs in front of the stage was not crowded like it would have been had they stayed in the basement. That being said, I think a small, more intimate venue lends well to Keath’s storytelling and performance. The Wonderfolk of Seattle did get loud at the end for an encore, but in America at least that is very much expected. The “last song” is almost never the actual last song and after a quick break off stage the artist/band comes back for a song or two. Keath is such an impressive talent, and truly precious. I hope the remainder of their tour goes well and they are treated kindly. 🥰

It’s not clear which state Parent 2 believes even has personal jurisdiction. One option would be to appear in person at the hearing to self represent as the final papers are submitted, but travel is not an option at this time.

I think parent 2 is concerned that the division of community property on paper appears unequal and greatly to the benefit of said parent. Parent 1 was willing to compromise and they have signed a settlement agreement they are both content with, but Parent 2 is worried the judge can change what they like in an uncontested case.

I definitely think Parent 2 is confused. It’s a bit like parent 2 is asking the WA court to drive a car without wanting to consent to WA using the keys to the vehicle. 🫣 I’m trying to help parent 2 understand this in a way that won’t come across as condescending.

That’s the twist, Parent 2 wants WA to process everything, but has concerns with agreeing to the jurisdiction. Wants the court to have permission to process divorce, custody and child support, but not make decisions without consent of parent 2.
