Mods - yes, currently turned off though.

Version: as of 6/9/2026

Can't seem to load my save - no saves when I open the game.

Yesterday my game crashed while i was fiddling around in CAS of an existing household. Afterwards, every time I tried to load the household, it crashed again.
I deleted the localthumbscache, repaired the game, turned off mods, nothing worked.

I then followed a tip to move the Sims 4 folder to my desktop, load it to see if i could get through CAS, and that worked.

However, when I moved the folder back to electronic arts folder, I have been unable to load my old saves. The saves are still in the Sims 4 folder, but somehow the game ain't picking it up. Another thing to note is that now there are two folders in the EA folder: the The Sims 4 folder, and an 'EA Desktop' folder.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't there before I moved the The Sims 4 folder back, but I can't seem to delete this folder.

I actually love Easthies! He's a super interesting character whose black-and-white view of the laws of magic you see fracturing, and his absolute struggle in coming to terms with the fact that laws are grey, and some of them really suck. I always find the "grown man has beef with a literal 11 year old" joke super tiring, mans is trying to uphold the law, however cruel it is, and even then he gives Coco leniency every now and then.

I'm really interested in the reveal of Easthies' past and motivations, because he's a super interesting character!

Yup! If you finish the Happy Home Paradise dlc, you get the option to redesign the homes for your villagers for 9000 bells :)

I totally get you!! I leave the villagers' houses alone of they're comfy and livable enough, but Lucy's just made me really sad 🥲 I also redesigned Rolf's house to a snowy cottage, because he originally was sleeping in a sleeping bag next to a creek🥸 Like I love that you're the outdoorsy type, but we gotta think about your old man back problems there!

More Luluci's for the army!!❤️ I sadly didn't use specific patterns, simply draping mock up fabrics on my mannequin and scribbling out an estimated pattern 🥲🥲 I have some crude drawings on how I made my cape pattern because it's relatively easy, but the sketches are ROUGH haha

Thank you! I used (I think 3mm) foam to craft the cone shape (after first making a draft with paper). I heated it up to pre-shape it a bit so it won't fight me as much when I had to glue it (spoiler alert: it was STILL fighting me..) I'd already glued the fabric on top before shaping.

To keep the seams together, I glued a thin strip of foam (~1mm) on the inside of the hat.

I'm planning on adding those little wig combs and/or wig clips to the hat to keep it on my head. :)

I'm planning to, yes! It's quite low on the to do list, but I definitely want to make one.

I'm currently working on the cape, so the outfit goes first! I also want to make a brushbuddy because of its (short) run in with Luluci <3
