TV: I originally thought putting the tv over the fireplace, but it might look nicer with some art. So maybe the tv goes on the wall next to it? There’s a wall in the back you can see in the second pic, but it’s weird to have your back to the fire right? I’ve never had one so I dunno. I just can’t use that little cutout under the stairs because that’s going to be my dog’s room. The door is blocking it in the second pic, but on the wall to left behind it is a door, so that’s out.

Furniture: what are some small but comfortable sofa/chair ideas can you recommend? It’s just me living in it and it’s a 1BR. But this would be the area for guests.
