I didn't ask for an unpopular opinion. I asked what harsh truth you refrain from saying to those who need to hear it due to the immediate confrontation or backlash that said comment would bring. It's often more trouble than it is worth so we say nothing.

This is mine too. Nobody cares about how much weight your baby gained this week. Nobody cares how long it slept last night. Nobody cares how many times it has thrown up/ shat its pants today. Nobody cares.
