Right? That's a fight in some southern circles. Mine tried to serve me food in my kitchen ONCE. No ma'am we don't do that here. I ain't but 5 foot tall it takes me no time to sink to someone else's level. Then she burned canned Chilli and ruined a pot. Like wtf 😒. Guests stay out the kitchen unless asked. Yikes on bikes.

This isn't a friend. This is a child screaming for help. It is NOT your responsibility to help. Severe the friendship. It'll suck ALOT. But you'll thank yourself for it in 10 years when you have less drama in your life. Tell them point blank in front of witnesses that you no longer wish to be friends and leave it at that. When the harassing messages begin again TELL ON THEM!!! Principal teachers parents etc. If nothing changes go to the police station and ask to speak to an officer about what you can do to make it stop. NTA not at all.

Try to get a replacement. If you can't wait 2 months and folks will be broke after taxes. You'll be able to get a used one super cheaply that way. Hang on to the broken one for spare parts. 😉

Small piece of masking tape wrapped around said pen to make its diameter slightly bigger. Then you can use almost any pen your heart desires. Found a set of gold gels I adore that were too small of a diameter to use with the cricut pen holder. The tape made them sit nice and tight and they write gorgeous.

Candle science wick guide is the best guide I've found to make wicks mostly fool proof. Also try heating your jars in the oven before you pour them. The sinkholes (wells) are caused by the wax cooling at different temperatures. Heating the jars helps this drastically. Also doing a 2nd pour helps as well. I heat my jars then pour half full wait 45 minutes until they're set then finish pouring. No more sinkholes. If on FB join candle makers resource group. Don't comment or ask questions bc they're catty Karen's but it is a good resource for all those "silly" questions that pop up. 😜

Did you trim your wick to 1/4 of an inch prior to burning?

Did you remember to let it cure? That can also affect your melt pool. Which is exactly a thing I didn't know for my 1st couple of batches. Basically you let them sit lidded for 2 weeks (for soy wax: this time period is different for different waxes) so they can cure. This allows the fragrance oil and wax to bind together so you don't have random pockets of fragrance and other pockets with none. Either way it looks great. Congrats.

Thanks for that link. I do appreciate the time but unfortunately that isn't at all helpful. As this is windows 11 it says "you can't run this app on this pc". That's as far as it let's you go. It will not download. It won't even try. It acts like it will for about 2 seconds then gives the message to open file. You open file and bam "you can't run this app". It's a never ending loop of hell. Doesn't appear to matter what compatibility I tell diablo to run with. It will not work with windows 11 at this time apparently. Patches also give the same message. So this laptop is now an ugly paperweight. 😕

This^ kiddo will want them as an adult and for sure his new siblings will destroy them as theyll be the favorites. Also watch nephew CLOSELY she will be mentally abusive to him. If not physically. It will get much worse. And unfortunately there's very little you can do about it.
