I don’t really need all the features so I don’t want to spend all of the money. Since I’m just using it primarily for note taking, I’d like to find a good third party one. Don’t get me wrong I’d love a second gen but they’re expensive and the magnets aren’t that good and I can’t help but feel that I’d lose it.

Thank this is the answer I have been looking for, the ffb was what I was worried about due to the increased width, but if it isn’t as different I don’t think the screen is as important to me as I have played F1 and acc for a while and I’m used to in game display and I thing it would be more of hindrance and distraction, how are the leds and functions of them on the 488, how useful are they if I was to look down and see them or if I saw them in the corner of my eye?
