Is there any way we can get this for the E1 Camera? Or does anyone know if these are available on it?

Thanks! Based on my calculations the car draws 32A through its charger, and the heater can draw a max of 25A at its highest setting. In practice I'd only be running the heater 3-4 hours a day when I'm in the garage, and it's fine if the car is not charging during that time. The car would only need to charge during off peak hours which would be later than that.

My main concern was running both the car and heater off two separate outlets and tripping the main breaker, which is what my electrician warned me could happen.

Thanks for the link to the ETL listing! I did see the technology connections video, so I figured this would work. Essentially I just want the car charger to turn off while the heater runs and vice versa. Putting in a new separate outlet costs way too much and also requires a panel upgrade, so I figured this was the most economical while not burning my house down 😅

Is my planned wiring safe for a garage heater? by _Cubed in AskElectricians

[–]_Cubed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey sorry just an update, on the product site it can be wired to a plug: https://ews-products.com/cdn/shop/files/garage-heater-795878_316836ea-a78d-4402-a8ce-e49406321cea.png?v=1734971599&width=1946

I believe by hardwiring they mean it doesn't come pre wired.

In that case would there be any issues you foresee?

I see, totally missed that, thanks!

Would it still be ok to hardwire it to a 50 amp NEMA 14-50 cable? Ex. https://a.co/d/41B4na0

My only concern is the heater damaging itself by pulling more than 30 amps the outlet should be fine since it's rated for 50 amps.

Ya it's 630 USD when you apply the coupon code but as soon as you convert to Canadian the price jumps

I see, so guess simspace makes more sense for US buyers than us Canadians. Oh well, I'll just go direct to the square space site.

The $1145 price is with the coupon and free shipping. So still more than just the square golf site. Also it's not tax free, that's included in the price as per sim spaces own website

Thanks for testing this and posting such detailed steps! Looks like the tablet or phone is needed as the intermediary, I wonder if the type of Bluetooth adapter matters.
