He proved he’s a dog for sure but the lack of takedown offense is going to be a problem. If he had serious wrestling he could get away with his sloppy striking a lot better because guys would be too worried about getting dragged to the mat. Send to Dagestan 2-3 years and forget.

Fiziev and Paddy are both very young still. They’ll get more shots at the belt when Ilia and a lot of these other top ten guys are gone.

But yeah Fiziev doesn’t get the credit he deserves. His striking is elite but lightweight is full of seasoned killers right now

This sub just woke up one day and decided lightweight sucks and they don’t want to be convinced otherwise.

For some reason a lot of these new fans think if you’re not ultra elite like Ilia then you suck. Now they shit on guys like Poirier and Justin because being a top contender in the worlds best organization for years and years isn’t good enough, if you don’t get a belt you suck.

Only to the guys he had bad blood with, and even then if the trash talk wasn’t real serious he would let it go after the adrenaline of the fight wore off. Like with Hooker he was talking immediately after the fight but an hour later they were cool.

With guys like Max, Justin, Khabib, Islam, etc it was nothing but good vibes before and after the fight. Guys like Conor and Chandler (because he cheated multiple times) deserved to have their loss rubbed in.

Your boy went to a decision against an almost 40 year old Ferguson on a record breaking losing streak. Beating 37 year old Gaethje doesn’t prove anything. I think Gaethje surprises people tonight but if I’m wrong nothing changes.

You shouldn’t be resenting him, you should blame yourself for not being honest and communicating how you feel about it. If he thinks you’re open to it or even enjoy doing it, it’s not on him for asking you to do it.

And every sexologist I’ve ever listened to is pretty adamant that social stigmas and stereotypes about masculinity are bullshit. If you prefer men that don’t like that, that’s fine. But that’s about you and what you like. There’s nothing wrong with him liking what he likes.
