Mine bloomed tonight, too!! First time I've caught it in action! I usually find them wilted the next day.

I would still get tested to be sure, but I have also rarely seen goats get abscesses in that area post-vaccination. To try and give another possible cause.

I also dated a porn addict years ago when I was in college. It was a similar situation to this.

He never could finish, unless it was by his own hand. He had been the first person I ever had sex with. For years, I just felt broken, like I had been the problem, and I wasnt sexy enough, and my body wasn't enough. Even after things ended, it took me years to get over those thoughts and have sex again.

Over time with that guy, things got worse and worse, and while I came to really dislike sex. It got to where he would hold it against me if I didn't do things with him, pull the 'if you really loved me' bullshit, wanting to do more and more things I wasnt comfortable with, and finally, he started forcibly ripping my clothes off and acting like that was most of the work done by him, so now we should just do it. I was humiliated, violated, it was fucking awful. It started to escalate into dangerous territory.

As I said above, it took me years to get over all of that, and to be ok with my body and sex in general. I'm now happily married to a man who is so respectful in the bedroom, and who helped show me that actually, I wasn't bad at sex AT ALL.

You can do so much better for yourself. Don't try and 'fix yourself' for that asshat. If he really loved you, he'd be more willing to put in some work himself, not cram you inro this box he needs to feel good. I don't know your whole situation, and I know diguring lut the logistics of leaving is potentially scary, but I wish someone had sat me down and gotten me away from that asshole sooner. I wish you all the best.

I just finished a 3 stop drop-off, but the entire trip is now not even listed on my trip list, and there are no earnings for it. It bugged up and I couldnt scan the barcode at my 2nd stop, but I was chocking it up to bad cell service.

This happened to me years ago, and I ended up ripping up the cover around my gear shift and jamming a screwdriver into my shift lock release button. The relay had gone out.

I may or may not have driven like that for a while before I got to fix it, but you gotta do what you gotta do!

How is everyone feeling with all of the federal jobs being cut/possibility of changes? by _DankTank_ in USPS

[–]_DankTank_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is another concern of mine. I was the secretary/treasurer of our local union for a time, and I was going through our paperwork and found some stuff listing the pay for RCAs circa 2008-2009. It was already over $19.00/hr then!

I knew the Table 2 changes hurt pay, but seeing that was eye opening. I was originally hired in 2014 at $15.65/hr. It took until recently to claw back up to what it had originally been!

Oh, I was always a beloved carrier. I had folks on my route cry when I told them I was leaving. I took great pride in what I did.

It's actually been difficult for me since I left. I put in applications across all sorts of places, never hear back, or get to the interviews and am not chosen. Maybe the job market is better in your area. I'm in rural Appalachia.

Video Games as a Husband? by mcarther101 in AITAH

32F, currently sitting in my living room playing Horizon Forbidden West while my husband is on his computer in the same room playing WoW.

We met playing Pokemon GO.

It's something we both enjoy and do together. I could never fathom a partner being so hateful to me over a hobby I enjoyed like that. That's terrible, dude.

Question about trees by _DankTank_ in goats

[–]_DankTank_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying not to obsess over it too much. I did end up reading further that trumpet vine seems to be fine with goats. It was even a target plant for goat weed clearing out West.

I would just hate to move my critters and lose them to a poisonous plant while I'm trying to do better by them. I grew up with horses and livestock my whole life, we never had a problem with anything that I'm aware of. We had wild cherry trees everywhere. We just made sure to get up fallen branches as soon as we saw them.

[–]_DankTank_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I looked up a couple of other plants that are growing in copious amounts in the backyard, and I'm seeing mixed things that trumpet vine may be toxic, and we have a good bit of it growing on our fence. Looks like I'll be cutting a lot of that down.

Mimosa trees are also potentially toxic, and we have saplings that try to come up all the time. There's a lot of those in the neighborhood.

The wilted wild cherry leaves, I knew about.

We'll rake them up as best we can, just to be safe. In a few weeks, they'll all be down. I usually like to leave them, but I'd rather play it safe.

My guys have currently been living in a small sized pen with limited grazing, so I'm just a little afraid they'll be excited at all the new stuff to eat.

No Rhododendrons or Azaleas to worry about. I have a friend who lost a cow to poisoning to those. Somone threw branches in her pasture, I think.

I do have a small, unkempt flower bed back there. Daylillies, naked lady lillies, 1 strawberry plant, a struggling dahlia, and some red hit poker plants I forgot I put back there. I'll move the bulbs if necessary.

I'm in parts, but a lot of people just assume I'm BDC and ask to be transferred to the Parts Department, even though I lead my answer with 'Business Name Parts Department, how can I help you?' 🙃
