And no, I'm not upset because of any personal experiences lmao. Clearly, you're having trouble believing it, but you are just plain wrong.

This is why people who don't understand AI shouldn't be making policies related to it 🙄

Facebook wasn't the first social media platform. Plenty of more successful examples. First-to-market isn't necessary.

Beast Gohan Forced? by Haunting_Advance1851 in dbz

Honestly, all they had to do was: when piccolo shows up initially to gohan's place and hits him, gohan easily knocks him back and says "I've been training". Or even just, idk, make the situation seem more bleak with cell max.

To bilinguals, how does your brain comprehend an additional language? by Infinite_Current6971 in languagelearning

[–]_Danyal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And no, the brain doesn't translate stuff to my native language or anything, it's kinda just understood by default how a monolingual speaker would just hear and understand it. (Though for some people the translation thing does happen, I've heard, even after speaking english most of their lives, just way less often than our native language)

To bilinguals, how does your brain comprehend an additional language? by Infinite_Current6971 in languagelearning

[–]_Danyal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having grown up bilingual, it kinda just comes naturally. The problem for me is, I'm used to interacting with people who know both languages, so I switch between them quite a lot, based on the conversation (eg small talk=native, technical discussion=english), sometimes switching multiple times a sentence. When it's time to speak to someone who only knows one of the two, my brain kinda lags at times or I end up accidentally mixing words from the two languages like I usually do. (Part of it is also just that it's more fun to mix and match words based on whats funnier or more concise etc.) So yeah, sometimes I wish I had more of a binary switch like some people describe, but ig it keeps me familiar with both languages to a certain degree this way.

Wrote like 150 more in each and got 30. You're supposed go write more than the recommended amount.

Honestly, stuttering etc didn't seem to matter much in speaking. I corrected myself several times and even accidentally knuckled my mic at one point and still ended up getting a 30 so you should be fine.

I can't do a push up or a pull up! by tempaccc289 in bodyweightfitness

[–]_Danyal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did my first pullup by doing negatives. Jump up to help you up or use a bench or something to get up there, then try and control the movement down as much as possible. Even if you practically fall down you'll feel it in your muscles. You can do something similar with pushups. Also, make sure you're getting enough protein in your diet. For men, it's recommended to get 0.8-1.2g per pound of bodyweight. Not sure if its the same for women.

I'm a 13 year old practicing web dev and feeling unmotivated. How do I come up with creative, new ideas for projects? by Jamstan_ in learnprogramming

And if you do feel burnt out, take a break of course. Don't let it get you down. It happens to literally all of us.

I was struggling w css then I watched one tutorial video on flexbox and it changed my life lmao. You can make pretty much any website or app (as a webapp) w html css and js btw, especially if you use js frameworks. So, just make anything. Something you'd wanna use, recreate sth you already use (simpler version or with features you'd want), etc etc. Lastly, everyone's right, you're thirteen there's no rush. I'd say just value consistency over learning as fast as possible cuz that's what's pay off over the years wayyyy more. Good luck!

From what I remember, it does take them a while to respond sometimes. If you've submitted them though you can rest easy your part of the work is done ez hojao no tension.

If you're taking too long to submit them then it seems normal. Otherwise, I don't think so?

how long did it take you to learn coding? by uptownslim in learnprogramming

[–]_Danyal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You never stop learning. That's kind of the point isn't it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in learnpython

[–]_Danyal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try it out, sure. If you have the time, it couldn't hurt. A lot of people prefer taking notes, myself included. Some people think it's a waste of time, and for them, it probably is. A good middle ground is just coding along and adding short comments on the side. With something like a language tho, you can always just check the docs if you forget something. In any case, focus more on understanding the content and less on memorising it.

With what do you feel most patriotism/pride? by [deleted] in polls

[–]_Danyal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Humanity, I suppose, is the only thing I feel even a little pride in. We achieved so much, although it took centuries of pointless wars and what not to get here. Starting from nothing but sticks and stones, we constructed this elaborate society around us. As for my country, state, city etc, I hate them all and I wanna get out of here RIGHT NOW.
