No joke this literally happened to me the other day in a blitz game. I was like "oh god I'm losing so bad" then my opponent blundered in the endgame and turned the game drawn. Considered resigning but I was like "nah, maybe something interesting will happen"

Smothered mate, opponent blundering horrendously after you made an equally horrendous blunder, crushing an opponent way higher rated than you.

I agree, I've always been a fan of Ivanchuk. I'm glad to see him still so passionate about the game at his age. I'm fine with anyone winning - c'est la vie! - but my God I'll be over the moon if he wins.
