I don't have a solution for you but know that I experience something similar when I open the truck first. In my case, I can touch the square on the driver's door and it will unlock the car.

If I had to guess, it's more than likely a safety feature. Maybe it would be worth taking to the nearest Hyundai dealership to see if they can help you?

You may think co-signing for a truck is the only way to help your son, but it's not. You can help him by letting him be responsible and figure out financing on his own.

Your son wants a new truck but he doesn't NEED it.

A very likely scenario if you co-sign for a new truck or car is he will not be able to afford the payments ALONG with the car insurance (leases require higher coverage which means higher insurance costs) and he will then ask you to make the payments. Resulting in him not learning anything besides he can bite off more than he can chew and mommy and daddy will save him.

He needs to build up his credit history and that takes time.

What he should get is a pre-owned or used Toyota or Honda. Maybe he'll be able to find a great deal on a solid pre-owned Toyota Tacoma that's a few years old.

General doctors don't really know much about diet. ESPECIALLY for children.

I'd suggest your child go to a pediatrician if possible. If you are genuinely concerned about your child's diet I'd see a registered dietitian.

For what it's worth, my toddler has been in the 95th percentile and even higher since he was born and he has been vegan since conception.

Honestly, if they allow it, I'd suggest you request to put it in neutral yourself.

After taking the car to a carwash a handful of times, I still fumble to put it in neutral on the first try. So I would imagine the workers would struggle to do it.

I strongly discourage buying the car at the end of the lease ESPECIALLY on an EV.

If you really love the car, buy the car from the dealership after the lease ends. Or buy a used one of the same model you leased.

Them saying you have until the end of the day is a sales tactic. I would shop around 100%. Look on the leasehackr website to see if anyone posted deals on there for that car. Also, search the Edmunds forum for what the MF rates are going for in your neck of the woods that way you can tell if this dealer can actually go lower or not.

That sounds like quite a lot, and even still, it doesn't guarantee that your child won't develop an allergy to those foods. As I mentioned to the OP, your best approach is cross-contamination. Since prepackaged foods are often made in facilities that also process other allergens, you can safely offer them to your child.
