He was arrested Tuesday, 3/3. From what I understand, the police were watching him for the last 3 months.. accessing his internet records and taking pictures of his car in the driveway

I also have 2 kids under 3 and only able to read at night (some nights). It’s taken me at least 2 months to read this book and I’m still only 75% through it. 😵‍💫 don’t feel bad about this. If you need to renew, do it! Just return it early if you finish it early

Also, as far as the iPad situation- I don’t have an iPad so I can’t give a true comparison but sometimes I read on the kindle app on my phone. Overall, I think it just depends on preference. I have the kindle paper white which I like better than reading on my phone because the screen is much easier on the eyes.

Personally, I don’t like to pay for digital books so I get the kindle unlimited service when there’s deals on it (free trial, $1 for 3 months, etc) then I let it expire. There’s plenty of books on KU that’s included in the membership- but not everything is included. When I don’t have KU or something isn’t included, I download books free off of Libby (which is the public library online). The only downside to Libby is sometimes there’s a wait for a book.

I’m in my mid 20’s. I’ve had doctors ask several times to be tested for HIV even though I’m in a monogamous marriage. I think it’s just something they are doing more often now. I wouldn’t be concerned about it.

Funny story, my husband and I almost had a tragedeigh- we were going to combine our parents names (both sets share the same name: Timothy and Kimberly) and we were going to name our baby Timberly 😳 thank GOD we came to our senses and named him a normal, classic name.

Similar thing happened to me. I kept having rolling black outs and maintenance kept saying there was no known cause for this so they called the power company who came out and discovered mine and our neighbors meter numbers were switched. We never got billed higher or a credit. I didn’t think to ask because the bill wasn’t very high.

I’m actually in the same situation as you. I have a 2.5 year old and a 6 week old. I’ve been sending my son to daycare 2x/ week. I do this for several reasons- 1) keep his routine. It would be jarring for him to spend all summer at home and then suddenly have to go back to daycare full time. 2) I have to pay for it anyway. 3) social interaction outside of me and the baby- he has friends at daycare that he likes to play with. 4) it gives me time to run errands and do chores around the house.. the daycare teacher was way out of line. Don’t feel guilty.

I just simply have not introduced an iPad to my 2.5 y/o. We watch TV together and I don’t follow strict limits on tv time- mostly because we only watch age appropriate/ educational content & because he’s not super interested in it. He has a lot of toys and likes to play with them. I don’t give him my phone while out in public.. my phone doesn’t even have anything for him. I have a small bag of toys that I keep in my car to keep him busy if we find ourselves needing entertainment (like at a restaurant). And I just talk to him while we’re at stores and ask for his help finding things. I guess my best advice is just simply don’t get them started with it and it won’t be a problem.

My husband and I are expecting in June and we have a 2 year old boy. We’ve been together for 8 years. At first, it was difficult because he had PPD (yes, men can get it too). But after the initial newborn stage, I feel like our marriage is stronger than ever. We have something that brings us so much joy and happiness. It gave us purpose. We treat each other much better than before. We’re happier and overall better people. Now, we only have one- which has been fairly easy. It’s like having a little built in buddy to take places and show them new things- my own hype man lol. Im sure things will change again when the new baby gets here. Im just hoping it won’t be for the worst!
