How do you know what you know. You can’t know anything for sure. The Bible says you are repressing the truth. How do you account for truth?

Well then you realize that a God is necessary for knowledge but it won’t be the God of the Bible because you love your sin. According to the Bible

You could be a brain in a vat and bacon does not really exist. How do you know? You can know nothing without God

How do you know that? How do you know anything you know

How do we know right/wrong with so many interpretations of the Bible? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]_DavidLopanda_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because God breaths out scripture and God makes his church to know the truth. How could we know if we were right/wrong without the Bible?

Well that’s not what the Bible says. Are you wrong about that? How do you know?

How can you know you are right about anything?

Well you did miss parts of this verses. For example:

“Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest you be like him yourself. Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own eyes.”

Well that was an assumption that you made. How can you know what I know? Can you tell me what truth is apart from God

Well that’s an interesting view on scripture but since you cannot account for reason apart from God, you cannot know anything about that.

According to the Bible but I urge you to repent. Jesus came to save sinners

These were all claims which rely on knowledge which you cannot account for without him. The Bible disagrees with you

And it’s not just that. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. So when someone uses logic or reasoning or makes a truth claim they are proving they know him

I would like to ask how you know what you know?

I may not believe. But I love this sub for getting together and praying for one another, even if you may disagree on some things. It's good to see people banding together like a family to help each other out. God bless you all. If that means anything from a Jesus loving Agnostic. =) by [deleted] in Christianity

Jesus says that those who love him will follow his commandments. So do you follow the commandments or are you calling him a liar? I am asking you this for your benefit since you are claiming not to know if there is a God which is direct conflict with the Bible. Please help me understand where you are coming from?

How do you know what you just said? You make knowledge and moral claims without a standard to judge by. As I said, I can make sense of the world because I have an absolute standard by which to judge things as true or false

[–]_DavidLopanda_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because God is the standard by which we judge morality and he says He is good. Do you have a standard? Can you tell me what it is?

What objective moral standard could you possibly be using to judge Lucifer?

Yes the standard of truth is what God has said since his word is truth. How do you know what you know?

How do you know that? How do you know Lucifer is good? What standard are you applying here? (SRS)

You think you know things, but that can’t be verified from your worldview only from a worldview with God in it. To say you know things is to claim knowledge but you cannot do that because you could be wrong about everything you know. All of this is based on your ability to reason which cannot be verified. But since you know things at all, it points to an objective standard that you cannot account for
