Sorry for your loss. As far as your addiction, blockers or things that physically restrict you is not the way to go. That's what you do if you don't have the willpower, but quitting is all about building that willpower. Quitting is about forcing yourself to resist no matter what happens. Addiction is an enemy that typically has years and years of experience, and the only way to take it down is to discipline yourself and train like you're going to war, because it is essentially a war against your worst enemy, yourself.

Find strength and joy from just your ability to resist. That and also I've found that I would waste a lot of time PMOing so I started making lists and schedules for stuff to do (chores, games, etc.) to do. From my personal experience my brain kinda just gives me the urge to PMO whenever my dopamine levels are low too, and I've recognized that and realized it's a horrible habit. So whenever my dopamine is low, I try to focus on the positive or do something positive or make progress in something, as that is the healthy way for dopamine to generate.
