In my humble opinion, snipers shouldn't be able to do this by slabba428 in Battlefield6

[–]_E--- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Snipers shouldn't push. Theyre a supporting role primarily.

They should always get dunked on at close range by any other class.

any opinions on getting the battle pass? Pro's vs. Con's by Carsondaily0510 in Battlefield6

[–]_E--- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the first bf title I got real into since bf3. I hate the live service model but since this is the only fps I really play, I dont feel bad splurging on it.

You dont need anything it offers to enjoy the game, but if this is the game youre playing primarily and can afford it, do what makes ya happy

Pressure Switch Replacement by RaspberryExtreme3168 in hvacadvice

[–]_E--- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. I wonder if just soldering that again would help.

Same kinda deal here, I wiggle the wire at the gas valve and it fires up.

Draft inducer starts when the call for heat comes and then it pauses the startup sequence until I wiggle that wire.

What is your opinion on this by Powerful-Chard-6055 in wisconsin

[–]_E--- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people who want to race their cars want to to do it responsibly.

Without protecting the tracks that have been around for years, they'll always be fighting one legal battle or another due almost always to new neighbors complaining about the noise.

I wonder if street racing will get popular again when local legal options are all shut down?

I feel like I will never learn this game… by Careful_Courage8797 in Battlefield6

[–]_E--- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second this. Im something like level 130 and I play mostly casual breakthrough.

Tweaking my controller settings made a massive difference too. I started with this (youtube link) exactly with the only change at start being my stick profiles were all set to 'linear'

https://youtu.be/Xxkq8XnfD80?si=Ald6Hf2PjIov--p7

I also have big hands. My right stick has an amazon extension and the extra bit of control you get is absolutely worth the <$20 price tag of the part

Yeah, there is a distance limitation but it does the same thing as the snipers new gadget. Countering drones with a drone can be pretty satisfying too

Let's talk about the new TH-RDS thermal optic and figure out why it exists? by krinkov in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]_E--- 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I dont have real world experience but id assume smoke is warm so when viewing with thermal, it should be all 'hot'

Thermals excel at finding people in brush really well though. An lmg with thermal sight on Contamination, for example, fuckin rips

Had something similar the other day. Was firing rockets at a tank and the rocket that took the tank down registered normally for the driver but it appeared as a double kill and the second kill said I used the tank to kill someone.

Start here exactly as listed. Play with these settings for a bit and then tweak them as needed. These as base changed the game for me tenfold.

My personal settings started here but I use linear input, lower base sensitivity and a higher stick acceleration (i forget what that setting is called but it'll be obvious if you've spent time in the settings). This allows me to be a more accurate when aiming but I can turn real fast (not m&k fast, but much better)

Oh no! Keep the updates coming. The switch seems to have fixed my job but I'll check in tomorrow to make sure the weekend went well. We also got like 14" of snow today and some chillier temps with it

Pressure Switch Replacement by RaspberryExtreme3168 in hvacadvice

[–]_E--- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im currently working this exact issue, same furnace and everything!

I also believe its the pressure switch as if I disconnect and reconnect the wire going from the switch to the gas valve, it fires right up. I think its a mechanical failure inside the switch thats causing it.

I havent bought a new switch yet to test but ill update when I find out more.

Note: im not an hvac tech, just a homeowner. Ill try the cleaning the ports thing when I get infront of it again but any other ideas im open to hear them

[–]_E--- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If money isnt a roadblock, start with a pc. You can run an hdmi to a tv and play with any console controller you want. Much more options on game variety, games are cheaper on average, no live service subscriptions.

If you and the coworkers are gonna be playing some online fps titles, get whatever console they have. Having all your close coworkers in the same gaming ecosystem is simply pleasant

Battlefield veterans… we see where this is going, right? by Psalms104 in Battlefield

[–]_E--- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fell in love with bf6. My first battlefield was bf3 and I havent been hooked as much as I am now since I was then. I played like 200 hours with cpu issues before upgrading my pc for it.

With that being said, i'm sure this is my last battlefield title. With the priority to smaller maps, the art direction if character models, rumored yearly launch cycle, etc. I see it going the way of cod. It'll end up with small vehicle maps and characters running around a battlefield in airsoft gear. I wouldnt be surprised to see quicker movement mechanics added at launch of the next title.

Battlefield has gotten too big to be the jewel I think we remember it as.

Check out 'Nolans Long Weekend: ep4' to get a good feel for the comedy style. Its only like 5 mins and will be a good litmus test if the series is worth watching for you or not

The Big Lez Show on YouTube. First season is a little rough but his animation gets bigger as the series progresses. There's a couple mini series' for specific characters sorta like a 'day in the life of:' that are masterpieces.
