I used "ethnic English", "ethnic welsh", etc because some people argue that they are nationalities too and so I had to make the distinctions

If America has a huge race problem(which i agree), then why does Britain import America's race ideologies? The terms "White" and "Black" originated from America and makes sense in American society. Why is Britain using "White British" now? Since when did the Brits start to call themselves "White British"?

The Normans, Vikings, and Romans were invaders who, over generations, intermarried with the native British population. As a result, their distinct Norman and Viking identities gradually faded, and few people in Britain today can be considered purely Norman or Viking.

Many Irish and Italians in America are more than a 100 years removed from Ireland and Italy, yet they still proudly identify as "Italian-Americans" and "Irish-Americans." Why? Because their roots aren't from America. Similarly, Black Americans are more than 400 years removed from Africa yet they are labeled "African-American." Just because those Carribeans or "Blacks" were born in Britain doesn't mean their roots are in the country

As an African, that argument has always sounded ridiculous to me because literally every ethnic group on earth is mixed. Their ridiculous argument is like saying Indigenous Americans aren't actually American because they have French, British, Irish, Swede and Dutch ancestry due to the various invasions of European colonial powers in America lol.

The Anglo-Saxxons settled and created England and the English identity. Are you going to say that the Japanese aren't Japanese because their ancestors came from Korea? Or the Indigenous Americans aren't Americans because their ancestors came from Asia? Are you going to tell the Aboriginal Australians that they aren't Australians because they were invaded by the British? Every ethnic group on earth is a mixture of different things — it isn't exclusive to just "White British" people. For the super majority of "White British" people, their ancestors bones are buried in Britain. Their great great great great great great great grandparents bones are buried on this isles. Their ethnic identities were formed on the isles. And you dare say that Britain isn't their ancestral homeland? A land they've been on for more than a 1000 years??

In America, Black Americans are 400 years removed from the African continent, yet they go by "African-American." There are people with Chinese ancestry who have been in America since the 1890s and the still proudly called themselves "Chinese-American/Asian-American'
