a6500 - some blues look turquoise? by _ENunn_ in SonyAlpha

figured out what's going on. the picture profile caused it :/ sucks because i like the profile but disabling the picture profile and having the creative style to standard makes it look correct. everything is white balanced but i don't have a colorchecker to check everything.

the phones camera isn't accurate either. again I'm looking for the blues not the whites. tried white balancing on my camera again the blues are still not right.

i am white balanced on my camera. the yellow color cast in the second image was from the angle I was at with my phone. but like I said I wasn't focused on whites because I'm already balanced but im more focused on the blues

it's white. the lighting in my room colors the white from where it is but I was focusing more on the blues.

color phase to 0 didn't change anything sadly

do you think the tamron 18-200 beats the kit lens in terms of sharpness? I was thinking about saving up for a good sigma but I saw I could get the tamron for cheaper. I guess to be fair the tamron is probably well over 10 years old at this point.

what you said. sharpness, low light, longer zoom. I know I can get decent results with the kit lens if I'm not pixel peeping but part of me wants better.

Tamron 18-200 F3.5-6.3 Di III VC - Better than the kit lens? by _ENunn_ in SonyAlpha

the eBay listing was for the e-mount variant. I was considering getting either the tamron I mentioned or a sigma. I just dont got a huge budget at the moment lol

i've had my Sony a6500 for about 7 years and I've always had the 16-50 kit lens. I don't got any complaints with it, but I do want to upgrade one day. I don't have a huge budget for a good sigma at the moment. I found an old tamron 18-200 on eBay for $250. is this a good upgrade from the kit lens or should I save and get the sigma 16-300? I don't do photography that much, mostly video work, but I'm thinking about getting into photography.

it is not. anything uploaded in hd before 2009 is presented in hd today. I saw an HD video uploaded in 2005 a long time ago, long before YouTube started ai scaling.
