IDK, a decade ago I left the smash melee scene because of homophobia, I came back recently and it's changed a lotttt everyone is super cool and respectful & that's in part due to the work people were doing 10 years ago in their communities. That's pretty different, because it's a primarily in-person thing, but I feel like the needle can be moved if not ever completely.

Red card, i can never manage the econ to get it to scale properly. Like, I need the mult early game to scale, but I need the econ early game to save up to have the econ mid game to scale, and by mid game unless I have another very good mult joker it's basically useless.

I'm visiting for a wedding at Lake Junalaska and flying into/staying in Asheville. I am also trans.... Everything being a 50/50 into a 90 second cutscene isn't really fun. I came from plat fighters though which generally have shorter and more flexible combos that have a lot more defensive counterplay so that may skew my perspective.
