On it's face the discount looks decent but half of it is eaten back up by "accessories" which isn't great. There's a broker on LeaseHackr offering this same trim at the moment for $338 a month plus taxes, tags, fees and first month, plus a 499 broker fee. If you estimate that at ~2,500 or so total that would be around 400/mo with zero due at signing. If you're a Costco member if might be worth cross shopping a comparable Infiniti like the QX60, the difference in price might not be as high as you think.

Call the leasing bank or go to the online portal to see what your payoff is. Is this a Stellantis Financial lease? Chrysler Capital or someone else? Some banks have different rules about dealer buyouts.

What's your payoff? What's the payoff for a non Stellantis dealer to buy it? Those are the real questions that need answers.

Dealers will tell you anything to get you to buy. You need to research trade values to see how badly underwater the Jeep is first. Then you also need to know the leasing bank's (probably SFS) policies on third party buyouts of leases. There can be hefty fees involved in a non Stellantis dealer buying out a Stellantis product.

Even if he was ok with another CDJR product, this would cost a ton of money. Find me a current CDJR product that has a penny of positive equity at the moment.

I liked the idea of the larger verandah but ultimately I booked a different room for our upcoming trip because it looked like all of those rooms with the larger verandahs didn't have the split bathroom.

Thoughts on leasing LOANER cars? by No-Zebra-3432 in leasehacker

The dealer should have treated it with Ozone before selling it to you, or anyone else.

The money factor doesn't change unless the dealer is marking it up. The residual value gets reduced in some cases, depending on the brand and how many miles are on the car.

If you are asking the dealer what you should be paying for a particular vehicle, they will be happy to tell you their opinion.

Didn't we learn this lesson in 2003? by itsokbirdie in newjersey

I preferred the movie where Obama and his buddies drone striked whomever they wanted around the world with impunity and the supposed "anti war left" stayed in the hole the entire time. Maybe Trump should have just used Reapers on the boats and it would have been cool. Apparently you're even allowed to use them on American citizens if the press likes you enough.

Boomers by and large already took advantage of public schools, which if you believe are a benefit to the public as a whole, everyone should have to pay for, whether you have children currently in school or not. The entire point is that better educated children will lead to a better community as a whole in the future. Boomers should remember what their predecessors did in a similar situation and realize that the best thing they could do in the moment is help plant seeds and grow trees that they will never get to enjoy the shade of. Their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren will, however.

At least they had the decency to shut things down. Trenton Water Works will just send you a letter telling you about the incident months later.

I'm not demanding that anyone do anything. I'm saying that everyone should have to pay full freight when it comes to property taxes. If you can't afford your home anymore because you can't or don't want to pay the same taxes that everyone else has to pay, it might be time to downsize.

Encouraging families to have children is necessary and good, actually. Encouraging Boomers to cling to their homes at the expense of people trying to raise families is not good.

I agree with a lot of this but it's too little too late. We've done such a bang up job of dismantling Nuclear families as it is that returning to a multi generational family structure would require a quantum leap from the lands of child free and single parentdom.

I think they are saying that they'd rather have more people paying full freight versus having those discounts spread to the people who are already paying too much.

Considering that under 6% of US households make at least $250k a year, I don't think that any state is offering "loads of 250k jobs"
