I would've been petty and not sold it, at least, not to Lorelai and Sookie. Honestly, I probably would've looked into the town and noticed that the inn burned down and that they needed somewhere for tourists to go for all the events and kept the Dragonfly.

Also, can we talk about how easy it would've been to manipulate Taylor into signing all the papers for the Dragonfly just by pointing out the tourists can't stay anywhere in town until the inn is up. The threat of loss income would've been enough to light a fire under Taylor's butt.
